This has helped develop his business, management and leadership skills, and has seen him build high performing teams, run successful projects and work closely with some large companies such as Philips, Microsoft, Sage and Apple as well as many UK small and medium enterprises.

His corporate career involved product and project management roles which led to him delivering a world first, and then headed up a marketing department within BT during which time revenues increased from £40m to £750m. He left in 2003.

In 2004, Robin served a year on the Board of the London Borough of Waltham Forest’s Housing organisation, Ascham Homes, as a non-executive director which helped build better bridges between the residents and the staff.

He is a director and founder of Matrix7 Ltd, a company he set up in 2004 to provide coaching and development services to professionals, specialising in leadership, personal effectiveness, team development and communications.

Robin supplemented his coaching diploma at distinction level  by being an accredited executive coach with The Leadership Trust. He is also one of  John Adair’s Accredited Trainers for ‘Action Centred Leadership’.

In 2017 he became BPS accredited in the use of Psychometric profiling tools, in particular the TalentQ suite of Dimensions and Elements. In 2018, he qualified as a mental health first aider.
