Glenys Tucker

Coach

Facilitator

She has worked successfully with Directors, Senior Managers, new line managers and emerging leaders and particularly enjoys working alongside individuals to increase their self-awareness and to help them identify what gets in the way of realising full potential.  She has a particular interest in emotional intelligence (EI) and transactional analysis and is accredited in EI profiling.

With over 30 years experience and roles ranging from MD of her own surveying practice to Area Manager for Natural England, she has first-hand experience of a breadth of leadership roles and challenges and is skilled in leading to bring about positive change.  Having qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, she worked for the Valuation Office and then set up her own company specialising in the environmental property sector. In the public sector she delivered a range of project management and leadership roles to support operations and organisational development.

Her interest in leadership development, coaching and emotional intelligence has grown as she moved from technical to senior management roles and developed her own leadership and people management skills.  In 2007 she was invited to train as a facilitator with “The Leadership Trust” and for the last ten years has facilitated and coached individuals on open and bespoke leadership programmes in the UK and abroad.

She is an ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) qualified Executive Coach and in her role as Principal Adviser for Leadership Development, led Natural England’s coaching network, talent management programme and designed and delivered bespoke programmes to support leadership capability and culture change.  To further develop and pursue her passion she is now focussing on leadership development and coaching as her full time occupation.
