Valérie is a fully qualified Executive Coach and Facilitator with 25 years of experience working in senior commercial management roles in business development, sales, marketing, coaching and people development. She has an MBA and an MSc in International business & strategy and is accredited by the rigorous and prestigious International Coaching Federation. She is a member of faculty at the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC), delivering executive coaching training and has also been an Associate of the Leadership Trust for over 20 years, working as an executive coach, course director and leadership facilitator. She is also part of the HSBC University faculty and an Associate at the CIPD (Chartered Institute of People Development), delivering coaching, management and leadership programmes. 

Valérie has been coaching and training executives at all levels (from 1st time Managers to Managing Directors) in many organisations for the last 10 years. She has designed and run pre-designed programmes around leadership development, change management, cultural transformation, team building and talent management for clients such as HSBC, the World Health Organisation, DuPont, Forum for the Future, PwC, Concern Universal, Ardagh, the Hut Group, the West Bromwich Building Society and Buckingham Palace. 

The early part of Valérie’s career was spent in telecoms working for BT. After taking a sabbatical in Tanzania with VSO, she decided to pursue her long-standing interest in people development, setting up her business (Cedar Energy Consulting Ltd) and working as an Executive Coach, Facilitator and Leadership Development trainer. She has been doing so ever since, in numerous countries across Europe and Africa. Outside of the commercial world, Valérie is actively working with women’s development and enjoys travelling and adventurous sports.
